A ought to read for all parents of young children – even those without dogs!

s a veterinary industry professional, I ofttimes encounter families that have brought a dog into their home for the basi time and were ill prepared for instructing their children to interact with the new arrival. Unfortunately, this ordinarily results in significant stress and potential risk to all family members, including the dog. “Be A Dog’s Best Friend” is an magnificent resource that all parents of young children may gain from. The illustrations are clear, easy instructing tools, and the text is direct and easy to perceive for even somewhat young children. I will be recommending this book to all of the dog and humane parents in our exercise for a lot of years to come!

As a psychologist, dog owner, and grandmother…

I just read Be A Dog’s Best Friend and feel like giving it to all the parents and grandparents I know. This slim book is in truth an encylepedia of how to read a dog’s body language, and understand it is conduct and needs. Once these few ideas are understood, dogs and kids of all ages may actually be friends. There are clear instructions on how to behave with a dog so that both dog and humane may have fun and companionship.

The illustrations, and child friendly language tell both children and adults how to be a dog’s best friend safely. As a psychologist and a dog owner, I learned a lot from this book and, as a Grandmother I commend it highly!

Mom Finds Kids Empowered by Info from Be A Dog’s Best Friend

We can’t keep our kids safe 24/7 unless we never leave their side. That’s why I prefer to educate my kids as much as possible regarding all kinds of risk and how to keep themselves safe in case I am not nearby.

Be a Dog’s Best Friend primary drew me in by it is lovable and childlike cover but likewise by the subject manner and the fact that they chose a dog for the cover that isn’t a tiny little frou frou puppy.

I read the kids with my book and found that the selective information was 100% utile and easy for them to understand. It broke things down into manageable elements regarding how to interact and care for a dog. Its bite-sized chapters also permitted me to have conversations with them in amid all while keeping their attention and interest.

I felt compelled to share the book’s name with our pediatrician after learning with regards to the share of kids who are treated for dog bites etc.

I hope by spreading the word regarding this simple but powerful book, it will prevent other kids from misunderstanding a dog’s body language and what is and is not suitable for them to do with a dog (even if it’s the best-trained dog in the world).

It’s a quick read, it’s fun, the illustrations are lovable and childlike and I feel it’s a must-have whether you have a dog or if there is ever a probability that your child may be at a friend’s house that has dogs as pets. K
