5Move Over Victoria Stilwell!
By Dawn A. Marcus, MD
If you want an individual to tell you you’re in all likelihood doing the best you may with your dog, not to worry if you’re too busy to train, and that they may tell your dog actually loves you, DON’T consult Debbie Connolly. She has no forbearance for such nonsense. Debbie’s anecdotes are veritably laugh-out-loud funny. And after laughing, I bet you’ll find a bit of yourself in them, too! I confess that this book inspired me to make a few changes in my dog training, fearing Debbie would see me with my dogs and have a few (appropriate!) choice words for my sloppiness! When you read Better Dog Behaviour, you’ll laugh out loud, blush when you recognize your own less-than-perfect behaviors, and be inspired to do the best you may for the dog in your life.

I commend this for every one with a dog or thinking of adding a dog to their lives. And if you’re timid when it comes to telling your friend or daughter-in-law that her dog’s conduct isn’t “cute” but annoying and unsuitable and a sign of poor training, you don’t need to. Just give them a copy of this book, and Debbie will do it for you!
