I enjoyed this short introduction to basic dog training. I have trained and shown my own dogs for 30 years. I like how Jesse thinks, how he understands how animals think. I would definitely use his methods for training any animal. Thank you Charlie for bringing this short book to light.

She is going to get lots of good from this book as she is very smart and will
make good use of the information.

I was hoping it would go into a little more detail on how to train dogs to do more elaborate tricks, but I understand the necessity of teaching the simple commands first. It’s written in a manner anyone can understand and I would highly recommend it, especially for first time dog owners.
